My first “serious” meeting with the field of communication was more of a flop, and my coordinator at the time, a slightly faded French lady, heartily advised me to find another path for myself. But I was headstrong and insisted, and the second intership, which was also in Paris, but with a much younger and nicer boss and an agency that was in the world’s top 5, got a “magna cum laude.” Even if I forgot the attachment on the first email I sent out to the media.

More than 10 years have passed from that “first encounter,” and what followed has been a serious seasoning in the local business medium, a period which strengthened my conviction that hard work beats talent anytime, anywhere.
